'New feature lands much interest' Guests reach for the skies in park's new A NEW form of accommodation is taking off at an award-winning Victorian caravan park. Halls Gap Lakeside Tourist Park in the Grampians has installed a first-of-its-kind Aero Glamper, compete with fully functional flight simulator. And it's already proving a hit with keen aviators. The Boeing 737 simulator is connected to a five-star luxury canvas safari tent with a rugged Australian outback feel that has been fitted out with handmade furniture. Park owners Rohan and Josephina McDonald report that the idea has already landed a lot of interest. "It took some convincing to get my husband to share my vision to introduce glamping because safari tents are expensive and they have a shorter life span than cabins," Josephina said. "But there was no stopping Rohan once he met the people behind GlampXperience who supply our safari tents and he saw the quality they had to offer.
"He became so enthusiastic that he has taken it to a whole new level by
bringing in a flight simulator." BACK TO CARAVANNING NEWS MAIN PAGE No part of this
