'More than a place to merely rest one's head' Peninsula's new park even comes with its very own barista VICTORIA's latest purpose-built multi-million dollar caravan park is now open for business. The BIG4 Bellarine Holiday Park near Queenscliff on the Bellarine Peninsula threw open its doors on October 1 and offers fully-equipped two and three-bedroom cabins together with 12m x14m powered and unpowered grass sites for caravans, motorhomes and campers. Facilities include indoor heated pool complex, water playground and water slide, 1.2km walking track, adventure playground, two giant jumping pillows, indoor toddler playroom, cinema room, unpowered go-karts and bike hire. And there's also a full size soccer field with Aussie Rules goal posts, 6m climbing net, bocce pitch, croquet lawn and basketball/netball ring. There's even an in-house barista to satisfy caravanners' morning coffee cravings! Park owners Tim and Sophie Bone said holidaymakers would be delighted with the facilities. "We wanted the BIG4 Bellarine Holiday Park to be an accommodation provider like no other," Tim said. "Every aspect of our park was built with the needs of the modern traveller in mind." BIG4 Holiday Parks chief executive officer Terry Goodall said that in the current economic climate a holiday park like BIG4 Bellarine was exactly what consumers were looking for ... a unique and affordable Australian holiday experience with all the added luxuries. "Within this relaxing environment guests can do as much or as little as they like while the kids make new best friends every day," he explained. "Holiday parks are far more than merely a place to rest one's head, and the hardest decision for BIG4 Bellarine Holiday Park guests will be whether they can tear themselves away from the outstanding facilities to explore nearby towns such as Ocean Grove and Point Lonsdale!" Six years
and $7 million
SUCCESSFUL holiday park
owners Tim and Sophie Bone invested more than $7 million developing their
star attraction ... the state-of-the-art BIG4 Bellarine Holiday Park. At each stage of development, the Bones
utilised cutting edge design and construction elements to produce a
superior park that rivals high-end motels and self contained
accommodation. And he expects to attract more than 10,000
visitors each year, generating an additional $2.6 million for the local
economy. "We employed 11 new staff members ready for the first official
guests to check in," he added. | ||
