A crime scene was established after a woman's body was found
inside a burned-out campervan in NSW this morning. Firefighters were called
to Dukes Oval at Emu Plains shortly after midnight to find the Mercedes Benz
RV well-alight. An investigation is now underway into the cause of the fire.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted to confirm identity and cause of
death.

New local laws introduced by Victoria's Frankston City
Council include a ban on parking caravans in the street for more than seven
days.

NSW police have launched an investigation after a shot
was fired into an occupied caravan on the South Coast overnight. The
incident happened on Pleasant Way, Nowra, about 3am this morning. It appears
a 52-year-old man was sitting in the caravan but was not injured. Anyone
with information is urged to contact police.

Camper taken to Charters Towers hospital after suffering
serious burns from a campfire off Queensland's Lynd Hwy early today.

Caravan and tow vehicle rolled on Queensland's
Gregory Development Road north of Belyando Crossing. Two people with serious
injuries airlifted to Townsville University Hospital. Spokeswoman at
Belyando Crossing Road House and Caravan Park told Caravanning News
that she believed the travellers had been heading south when their ute and
caravan 'flipped".

Man rushed to hospital with serious burns after
caravan erupted in flames late last night in Ipswich suburb of Bundamba,
Queensland.

Melbourne's 2020 Leisurefest has been cancelled
because of the COVID-19 crisis, Caravan Industry Victoria announced today.
Chief executive Rob Lucas said it would be "disappointing news" for
exhibitors and visitors. But, he added, the industry would continue lobbying
the Victorian Government to ease restrictions for outdoor caravan and
camping shows to allow the association, members and exhibitors to operate in
a COVID-19 safe manner.

Walkerville Council in SA is asking the local
community whether a long-term lease of up to 42 years should be offered to
new managers of Levi Caravan Park on the banks of the River Torrens so it
can be redeveloped "for the benefit of both the community and tourists
alike". The current lease expires in November.
