Caravan Industry Association of Australia joins forces with RV Boss in a new
online classifieds venture. RV Boss founder Luke Trouchet said it would
"empower users to buy and sell RVs without a hitch", adding: "It's a simple,
intuitive experience for buyers and sellers."
It is described as a
dedicated platform for industry members and trade businesses to gain
customer exposure and take part in creating a
strong, supportive narrative for the industry.

Caravan Industry Victoria today announced that
August's three-day Border Caravan and Camping Expo has been cancelled due to
COVID restrictions and directions from the state government.
The expo would
have been the tenth one held in Wodonga.
"We had some very eager consumers ready for a show after the
cancellation of 2020 and now 2021," a spokesperson said.
"But we plan on returning in 2022."

NSW Deputy Police Commissioner Gary Worboys has
issued a stern warning to travellers trying to avoid new COVID restrictions,
particularly caravanners and campers. He said police had spoken to many
people moving outside Greater Sydney who were trying to disguise their
regional travels as a business trip. "It is really a holiday, trying to
provide police with excuses as to why they have been found outside Greater
Sydney and have a caravan they are towing or camping gear with them," he
said.

Queensland paramedics assessed six people but
reported no injuries requiring transport to hospital when they attended
accident involving caravan and another vehicle on Burnett Highway near
Bouldercombe.

holiday parks are benefiting from the COVID-created demand for domestic
travel. Its revenue of over $50m for the year was a rise on the previous

Toyota LandCruiser with Queensland registration 007 THS. Anyone who knows

details of its draft annual business plan for the 2021-2022 financial year.

19, charged with break and enter, steal motor vehicle, malicious damage by
fire, possess prohibited drug and knife, and larceny after a Hyundai SUV was
stolen from a caravan park on Peel Street, Tamworth, NSW, and destroyed by
fire.

rollover at Sea Lake on Victoria's Calder Highway. A male passenger in the
4WD towing the 'van died and the female driver was airlifted to hospital.

NSW's Upper Lachlan Shire Mayor John Stafford says
the Crookwell Caravan Park will be re-opened "in a couple of weeks" after
upgrades are completed.

Cyber criminals are targeting Australia's caravan industry,
it has been revealed. The booming industry saw more than $175 million lost
to scams last year, with one-in-three businesses falling victim to
ransomware attacks in the last 18 months. The Caravan Industry Association
of Australia has now secured a $380,000 Federal Government grant to help up
to 1000 businesses reduce the risk of being a victim to cyber crime.
