NSW Caravan Camping Lifestyle Expo

Plenty of great advice available at Expo

Even a Doggy Rest Stop available at Expo

Show offers an experience unlike any other staged by State's peak 'vanning body

Have your say

MORE than 150 exhibitors will showcase a myriad of products at next month's Caravan Camping Lifestyle Expo in NSW.

The event at Sydney Olympic Park's Showground will feature the latest recreation and 4WD vehicles, caravans, camper-trailers, camping products, holiday park displays and more.

"This will be a completely new Expo experience unlike anything we've staged before, in a fantastic, easy to access exhibition facility," Caravan & Camping Industry Association (NSW) chief executive Lyndel Gray said.

Visitors attending the state's peak body show will be able to explore some of the most extensively appointed caravans, camper-trailers and motorhomes on the market.

These homes-away-from-home feature bathrooms, air con, kitchens, washing machines, TVs, microwaves, outdoor BBQs – and much more.

There will be $5000 in cash given away to one lucky winner each day of the Expo.

"People can also come along and find out how to rent a motorhome or campervan for the road trip they have always dreamed about," Ms Gray said.

"They can also sample some of the best food and wine from NSW, find out about travelling with pets and how to find the perfect place to stay with dog-friendly facilities, or find the perfect holiday park with luxury cabins and glamping tents.

"The Expo is being held at a great time of year to buy new equipment or update your caravan and camping gear to be ready for the summer holidays."

It is also a dog-friendly event, with a Doggy Rest Stop presented in partnership with RSPCA NSW.

There will be an Active Kids area on Saturday and Sunday where the youngsters can try out a mechanical surfboard, slip down the inflatable slides or scale the climbing wall.

The area will see Surfing NSW handing out giveaways, competitions and free skin cancer checks.

Kids can enjoy Girl Guide craft activities, games and obstacle courses.

Other show features will be a unique Twin Terrapod which showcases the Land Rover's articulation, traction control and terrain response.

The four-day Caravan Camping Lifestyle Expo opens on November 3.
