Fun way to network
Free seminar could help
working travellers save tax
WITH costs ever spiralling upwards and many travellers having to watch
every last cent, a special seminar could help with finances.
A seminar will be held on the Gold Coast next month for anyone interested
in learning how to claim their travels against tax.
"It is free of charge and if anything like the others we have held the day
will be very
informative and fun," organiser Kym Leech told Caravanning News.
Keynote speaker at the July 4 event will be Julia Hartman, of accounting
firm BAN TACS.
An avid traveller herself, Julie is no stranger to getting her hands dirty
... she has spent time as a fruit picker gaining first-hand experience as a
travelling worker.
Kym said seminar doors would open at 9am in time for a 9.30am start.
Proceedings will finish around midday and participants can then adjourn to
the local park for a BYO BBQ/cut lunch.
"This will be a great time to ask more questions and network with others,"
she added.
